Race report by David Ehrbar
The GP3F (Grand Prix des 3 Frontiers) in Longwy was the last race of the year, and among the 120 starters there were many good drivers in the Modified class as well as in Stock class so it was difficult for everyone to make the A final.

I was well prepared, because I had won two smaller races at the same track before. This time the same carpet and similar layout was used, but in a different hall which was much smoother so it totally changed the way the car drove. I found a good set-up with which I could drive competitive lap times, so I was always in the Top 10. After the first two qualifiers I was already in the A final, so I started to experiment with set-up and tried to push harder during the heats.

Unfortunately this lead to some crashes while being in very good positions (3rd and 4th) so I qualified 9th. In one of the crashes I damaged one of my tires. Because I knew new tires were slower, I tried to continue with the damaged set, which went surprising well.

In the first Final I improved to 5th position, which was encouraging. But in the second Final my damaged wheel broke completely which meant I had to use new tires for the last final. I finished that Final in 7th place, which gave me an overall 7th place.

Race report by Joe Streff
77 Stock drivers found the way to the 8th edition of the Grand Prix 3 Fronti?res. MRC Longwy did a very good job and built a very nice track with technical and fast parts.

Practise started on Saturday morning with 4 rounds. My car went well straight from the beginning and pace was set by Jan, Tom, Nicolas, Steffen and myself during practise rounds and the gap between the cars was very close.

The afternoon began with 4 qualifiying rounds, In Q1 i coud TQ, Q2 and Q3 for Steffen and Q4 for me again. On Sunday morning was Q5 and here Tom set the fastest time. Overall TQ for Steffen, 2nd spot for me in front of Tom, Gilles, Nicolas, Philipp, Manuel, Jan, Andre and Thomas.

F1: Steffen in the lead, after 3 min i was close to him and after a small mistake from him i could win in front of Tom and Philipp.

F2: Steffen in the lead, after 2 min he made a mistake and i could win this final. 2nd spot for Tom and 3rd for Gilles.

F3: Steffen decided not to run the last heat. I try new tyres on my car. After a good start i coud take the lead but got pressure from the cars behind me. Tom and Gilles passed me and i finished on P3.
